Changes with pulmonary hypertension: Narrowed air spaces, thick mucus, airways in lung are narrow due to inflammation, big alveoli filled with mucus. Changes in lungs cause constriction of blood vessels. Heart works harder so the right heart fails. These changes are known as Eisenmenger's Syndrome.
